1 full time Shift Leader (37.5 hours per week) at Nicholl Grange and 1 part time Shift Leader at The Gables (22.5 hours per week). Both posts will require the ability to work a shift pattern, including some night working.

In addition to being Qualified to NVQ level 3 in Health or Social Care (or working towards this), candidates will also be able to demonstrate good understanding of the appropriate legislation, relating to Health & Social Care Act, the Care Homes Regulations 2001 and CQC’s ‘Essential Standards’. Experience of working in a residential care setting and within the field of mental health is also required.

Working under the overall guidance of the Care Home Manager you will be required to provide overnight care and support to residents within Nicholl Grange.

You should have experience of working within the mental health field, preferably within a residential care setting and able demonstrate a good understanding of Health & Social Care Act, the Care Homes Regulations 2001 and CQC’s ‘Essential Standards’. You will be able to work without supervision and willing to take responsibility.
